Using Kamagra

Kamagra, the generic version of Viagra which is used to treat erectile dysfunction and impotence problems works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis when you are sexually excited. This allows blood to flow into your penis as you are sexually aroused, thus allowing you to get an erection the natural way. Kamagra will only work if you are sexually excited. It will not give you an erection on its own. To achieve an erection you will need the assistance of your partner.

Kamagra Dosage

Kamagra is usually taken in different doses from 25mg to 100mg. For most patients, the recommended dose is 50 mg. This should be taken, as needed approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. However, your initial Kamagra dose would be decided by your doctor or medical advisor upon evaluation. It is important to remember that only one dose should be taken per day. This prescribed dose should not be increased unless advised by your GP or medical practitioner. Based on effectiveness and toleration, the dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 100 mg, or decreased as appropriate. The amount of time Kamagra takes to work varies form person to person. This is dependant on such things as metabolism, but normally takes between half an hour to one hour. Everyone is unique so if you do not get the results you expect, talk with your doctor. You and your doctor can determine the dose that works best for you.

If you are older than age 65, or have serious liver or kidney problems, your doctor may start you at the lowest dose (25 mg) of Kamagra.

If you are taking protease inhibitors, such as for the treatment of HIV, your doctor may recommend a 25 mg dose and may limit you to a maximum single dose of 25mg of kamagra in any 48 hour period.

Taking Kamagra

Take kamagra about one hour before you plan to have sex. The oral jelly or gel should be effective in about 30 minutes and will last for up to 4 hours and in some people even longer. Kamagra can only help you get an erection if you are sexually excited, so don’t expect it to appear on its own, have your partner entice it up.

The optimum method is to take the required dosage of oral jelly and hold it underneath your tongue for approximately 20 seconds before swallowing. This allows the sildenafil to be absorbed directly, thus quickening the effects.

Overdosage

In dosage studies with healthy volunteers of single doses up to 800 mg, adverse events were similar to those seen at lower doses but incidence rates were increased. In cases of overdose, standard supportive measures should be adopted as required. Renal dialysis is not expected to accelerate clearance as sildenafil is highly bound to plasma proteins and it is not eliminated in the urine.

Note: If you take kamagra after a high-fat meal (such as a cheeseburger and chips) or a large intake of alcohol, the medicine may take a little longer to start working.
